Arrival in Marrakech

Transfer to Your Hotel: Upon landing at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred directly to your hotel or riad, allowing you time to settle in and prepare for the exploration ahead. Dive into the Essence of Marrakech: After a brief rest, we will begin exploring the main attractions of Marrakech, including the renowned Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the striking Koutoubia Mosque, the bustling souks (markets), various historic palaces, and the modern Gueliz area. Optionally, we can also visit the serene Menara Gardens.

Day 2

From Marrakech to Dades Gorges

Set Out for Dades Gorges via the High Atlas: We’ll start the day with a stunning drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the exhilarating Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. The winding mountain roads provide continuous, sweeping views and fantastic photo opportunities at every bend. From Dades Gorges to Merzouga

We then continue through the green, lush landscapes of Ziz Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves and date plantations. Discover Erfoud’s Fossil Treasures: Next, we’ll arrive in Erfoud, an area known for its ancient fossils. Exploration of Merzouga Desert

Discover Khamlia Village & Traditional Gnawa Music: The day starts with a visit to Khamlia Village, where you’ll be treated to a vibrant performance of Gnawa music, a traditional Moroccan genre that conveys stories of resilience and culture. Next, a short drive will take us to Lake Merzouga, which offers a refreshing, often unexpected contrast amidst the desert sands. The lake is famous for attracting a variety of birdlife, including flamingos, doves, and ducks. Unforgettable Sunset at Erg Chebbi: As the day winds down, we’ll head to the top of the dunes for a spectacular sunset view over the vast desert expanse. After this, we will return to your desert camp where you will spend the night after enjoying a delicious dinner.

Day 5

Journey from Merzouga to Midelt

Sunrise in the Sahara: We will begin our day witnessing a peaceful sunrise over the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes, followed by a hearty breakfast in the desert. Scenic Drive through Ziz Valley: After leaving the desert, we’ll have a scenic journey through the green Ziz Valley, known for its expansive palm groves and winding river. Stop in Erfoud & Grab Fossil Souvenirs: We’ll make a quick stop back in Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops, allowing you another chance to explore unique stone crafts and pick up a memorable souvenir. Continue to Midelt: Then we will travel through dramatic mountain landscapes and charming small Berber villages as we approach the town of Midelt, a perfect, central base for the High Atlas region. You will stay overnight here in Midelt.

Day 6

Journey from Midelt to Fes

Atlas Mountains Journey: Our journey on the 6th day starts with a scenic drive through the stunning Atlas Mountains, offering sweeping views and passing through charming small towns along the way. Meet Playful Monkeys at Azrou Cedar Forest: Our next stop for the day is the famous cedar forest in Azrou, where you can spot wild Barbary monkeys in their natural habitat and enjoy the serene woodland atmosphere. Explore Ifrane – Morocco’s “Little Switzerland”: After that, we’ll head to the beautiful town of Ifrane, known for its European-inspired architecture. Day 7

Guided Tour of Fes

Then, we’ll visit the sacred Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, an important spiritual site that conveys the depth of Moroccan heritage. Qarawiyyin Mosque & University – A Center of Knowledge: Next, we’ll walk through the Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, recognized as the world’s oldest continually operating university. We’ll discuss its role in Islamic scholarship and appreciate its stunning architecture. Experience the Fes Tannery: We’ll head to the famous tannery where you’ll see the close-up, traditional process of making leather goods. The sight of the colorful dye vats and the hardworking artisans is unforgettable. Ceramics Cooperative – Artisans at Work: To wrap up the day, we’ll stop at a local ceramics workshop. Watch artisans skillfully shape and paint pottery using ancient techniques passed down through generations. After a full day of discovery, we’ll rest in Fes for the night, ready for the next leg of our journey.

Day 8

From Fes to Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)

From Chefchaouen to Casablanca

Discover Rabat’s Highlights: We’ll start our day with a drive to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. Once we arrive, we’ll visit the Royal Palace, admire the towering Hassan Tower, and step inside the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We’ll then wander through the charming Oudayas Kasbah, where you can take in views of the Bou Regreg River and experience life in the old medina. Head to Casablanca: From Rabat, we’ll head to Casablanca, a lively city where tradition seamlessly meets modern life. We’ll explore its busy markets, vibrant coastal spots, and famous landmarks. Tonight, you’ll rest here in a cozy hotel.

Day 10

From Casablanca to Marrakech

Explore Casablanca’s Iconic Sights: We’ll begin our final day with a visit to the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, set dramatically right on the ocean—it’s one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world. After appreciating its intricate details, we’ll stroll along the lively Corniche and stop by Mohammed V Square for a final taste of Casablanca’s urban energy.
