Meet your driver/guide in Tangier. Drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to the famous “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. Spend the afternoon exploring the blue-washed streets and markets.
Depart Chefchaouen. Drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis for a guided exploration. Continue to Meknes (quick stop) before heading to the imperial city of Fes.
A full day dedicated to a guided tour of the historic Fes Medina. Visit the famous Tanneries, the Royal Palace Gate, and the Jewish Quarter.
Drive south, stopping at Ifrane and the Cedar Forest (Barbary Apes). Continue through the Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga for a Camel Trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy dinner and Berber Music around the campfire for the Overnight Desert Stay.
Wake up for the desert sunrise. Return to Merzouga. Drive to the dramatic Todra Gorges for a walk through the canyons. Continue along the “Road of 1000 Kasbahs” to the Dades Valley.
