Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Casablanca & Transfer to Rabat

Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport, you will be welcomed by our driver. We will visit the Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture perched on the Atlantic coast. Afterward, we drive to Rabat, the capital city. You will check into your riad for the night.

Day 2

Rabat to Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we explore Rabat's highlights, including the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah. Then, we drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the 'Blue Pearl'. You will have free time to wander its charming blue-washed streets. Overnight in a riad.

Day 3

Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis & Meknes

We leave Chefchaouen and head to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, we visit Meknes, one of the imperial cities, to see the Bab Mansour gate. We continue to Fes for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Fes Sightseeing

Today is dedicated to exploring Fes. We will visit the Royal Palace gate, the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), and the ancient medina. Highlights include the Bou Inania Madrasa, the tanneries, and the Al-Qarawiyyin University. Overnight in Fes.

Day 5

Fes to Merzouga

We travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, where we might see Barbary macaques. We stop for lunch in Midelt and continue through the Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Overnight in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 6

Merzouga Desert Exploration

We explore the desert area in a 4x4, visiting the village of Khamlia for Gnawa music. We share tea with nomadic families. In the afternoon, we ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp.

Day 7

Merzouga to Dades Valley

After sunrise, we return to Merzouga. We visit the Rissani market (if open) and then head to the Todra Gorges for a walk. We continue to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 8

Dades Valley to Marrakech

We drive through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate, visiting the Atlas Film Studios. We explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.

Day 9

Marrakech Sightseeing

We explore Marrakech, visiting the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. We wander through the souks and experience the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 10

Departure

Depending on your flight time, we will transfer you to the airport in Marrakech or Casablanca for your departure.
