Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca: Depending on your schedule, we may make a brief stop at the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Set along the Atlantic shoreline, this is one of the largest mosques in the world and a true marvel of modern Moroccan craftsmanship. Explore Rabat Highlights: Upon arrival in Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, we’ll explore its most notable landmarks. Known for its ornate tilework and grandeur, this gate once stood as a powerful entrance to the imperial city. Arrival in Fes: We’ll arrive in Fes by evening and escort you to your traditional riad in the heart of the old city.
Morning in Ifrane: Leaving Fes, our first stop is Ifrane, a small town in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Known for its clean streets, alpine architecture, and cool climate, Ifrane feels like a European ski village, a striking contrast to the rest of Morocco. Explore Azrou Cedar Forest: We’ll then continue through the cedar woodlands near Azrou, where you’ll have the chance to meet the curious Barbary Apes. Enjoy the crisp mountain air among some of the oldest cedar trees in North Africa, and capture photos of this beautiful natural area. Experience Camel Trek & Sunset Over Erg Chebbi: Climb aboard your camel and trek into the heart of the golden dunes just in time to watch the sun set over the Sahara. Capture photos of the beautiful desert sunset that changes color every minute. Overnight Stay in Desert Camp: Spend the night at your traditional Berber desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared Moroccan dinner, live music around the campfire, and some of the clearest stargazing you’ll ever experience.
Start Your Day with A Desert Sunrise: Begin your day with a breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. This will be an unforgettable moment of desert tranquility. Explore the Todra Gorge: As we leave the camp and travel west, we’ll stop at the Todra Gorge near Tinghir. Here, vertical limestone cliffs rise up to 300 meters, carved over centuries by the Todra River. Enjoy a short walk through the narrow pass. Spend the Night in Dades Valley: Our last destination for the day is Dades Valley. We’ll explore winding roads that snake through red-hued gorges, pass old kasbahs perched on cliffs, and take in views that capture the raw beauty of southern Morocco.
Start the Day in Kalaat Mgouna: We’ll begin the final day with a short stop in Kalaat Mgouna, also known as the “Rose Capital of Morocco.” Famous for its annual Rose Festival, the town is surrounded by fragrant rose fields and artisan shops selling rose-based products. Explore Cinematic Landscapes in Ouarzazate: Next, we’ll head to Ouarzazate, often dubbed the “Hollywood of Africa.” Visit the impressive Taourirt Kasbah, a former palace of Glaoui chiefs, and explore the world-renowned Atlas Film Studios. Step Into History in Ait Benhaddou: Continue to the UNESCO-listed village of Ait Benhaddou. This striking mudbrick kasbah is one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks and has served as a backdrop for countless blockbusters.
