Merzouga u2013 Nomad Life & Desert Exploration

Sunrise Over Erg Chebbi: Weu2019ll start the day early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the sweeping dunes of Erg Chebbiu2014have your camera ready for this breathtaking natural show.nVisit to a Nomad Family: After breakfast, weu2019ll take a 4x4 ride into the surrounding desert to meet local nomad families. Youu2019ll gain a close, personal look at their traditional way of life, learning how they thrive, cook, and raise animals in this remote environment.nKhamlia Village u2013 Gnawa Music Experience: Next, we visit the village of Khamlia, celebrated for its rich Gnawa culture. The villagers, originally from Sub-Saharan Africa, will greet you with a live performance of their spiritual, rhythmic, and captivating music.nLunch in Rissani u2013 Taste of Tradition: In the afternoon, we'll head to Rissani, the historical seat of the ancient Alaouite dynasty. Jour 3

From Merzouga to Dades Valley

Sunrise and Departure: Wake up to another glorious desert sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, we trek back to Merzouga by camel or 4x4.nTodra Gorges: We leave the desert and travel to the Todra Gorges. These massive limestone canyons are a spectacular sight, with vertical walls rising up to 300 meters. We'll take a walk along the river floor, admiring the climbers and the natural beauty.nDades Valley: In the afternoon, we continue to the Dades Valley, driving through the 'Road of a Thousand Kasbahs'. We'll see ancient mud-brick fortresses and the unique rock formations known as 'Monkey Fingers'. We spend the night in a hotel in the valley.

Jour 4

Dades Valley to Ouarzazate

Valley of Roses: After breakfast, we drive through the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival in May. The air is filled with the scent of damask roses.nSkoura Oasis: We continue to the Skoura Oasis, home to the beautiful Amridil Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco. We'll have a guided tour to learn about its history and architecture.nOuarzazate: We arrive in Ouarzazate, the 'Hollywood of Africa'. We'll visit the Atlas Film Studios, where movies like Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed. We'll also explore the Taourirt Kasbah, a maze of stairwells and courtyards. Jour 5

Ouarzazate to Marrakech via Ait Ben Haddou

Ait Ben Haddou: Our final day begins with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. This ancient fortified village is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture and a must-see destination.nHigh Atlas Mountains: We then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m). The drive offers breathtaking views of the mountains and Berber villages clinging to the slopes.nArrival in Marrakech: We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
